Mariotto Albertinelli (Mariotto di Bigio di Bindo Albertinelli), Italian (Florentine) painter.
He was greatly influenced by Perugino and Piero di Cosimo, did much work with Fra Bartolomeo.
His works are characterized by his frequent use of the chiaroscuro tecnique, his soft and sinuous delicate figures and his refined depiction of their garments.
His works include the "Annunciation" at the Accademia in Florence, and the famous "Visitation"{2756}
