Two pairs of angels, one above the apex of the stable’s roof and the other in the foreground, sing hymns from scrolls.
A five-line foliate initial ‘D’ introduces Prime of the Hours of the Virgin, and a border frames the page with pen rinceaux, flowers, and a cockerell.
